Preppy Holiday Engagement Shoot in the West Village by Kate Headley

The holidays may be over but this Christmas Tree-shopping engagement shoot is so precious {and stylishly classic ... hello, tartan, duck boots, Pendleton blanket & Hunter boots}, that I couldn't resist sharing. From Kate, "If you can believe it, Ashley met Alejandro when she found his ID on the street when they were both living in Philadelphia. She messaged him on Facebook and the two met up at a Starbucks for her to return it. Three hours later (and an expensive parking ticket from her being parked in only 15 minute parking) the rest is history! I had so much fun shooting in the West Village of NYC, where Ashley and Alejandro live today. After some hot (and cold) beverages, they chose a Christmas tree for their apartment...the Pendleton blanket making a perfect and practical tree skirt. I loved every minute of this shoot--the backdrop, the great styling and such a warm and fun couple to be around. I can't wait for their wedding with Simply Chic Events next fall!"
